Days 1-2: Bariloche essentials

Arrive at Bariloche, explore Centro Civico, Mitre Street chocolate shops. Day 2: Circuito Chico (from USD 28) with Cerro Campanario, Hotel Llao Llao. Curanto lunch at Colonia Suiza.

Day 3: Villa La Angostura & Arrayanes Forest

Days 4-5: Seven Lakes & San Martin de los Andes

Day 4: Route of the Seven Lakes (110 km, one of the world's most scenic drives). Overnight in San Martin. Day 5: Lanin Volcano excursion or Lake Lacar navigation to Quila Quina Mapuche community.

Day 6: Cerro Tronador

Cerro Tronador (3,491 m) and its Black Glacier, named for the thunderous sound of ice calving. Full-day excursion from USD 62.

Days 7-9: El Calafate & glaciers

Day 7: fly to El Calafate, Glaciarium. Day 8: Perito Moreno Glacier with optional mini-trekking (USD 200). Day 9: Todo Glaciares navigation (USD 120) — Upsala, Spegazzini and Onelli glaciers from the water.

Days 10-12: El Chalten trekking

Day 10: bus to El Chalten (3 hours, USD 15-25). Short hikes. Day 11: Laguna de los Tres (25 km, 8-10 hours) — the famous turquoise lagoon at the foot of Mount Fitz Roy. Day 12: Laguna Torre (18 km, 6-7 hours) at Cerro Torre. Return to El Calafate. All trails are free.

Days 13-14: Ushuaia & the end of the world

Day 13: fly to Ushuaia. Beagle Channel cruise (from USD 45). King crab dinner. Day 14: End of the World Train + Tierra del Fuego National Park (from USD 90). Return flight.
