Cacheuta Hot Springs is one of the most spectacular thermal complexes in Argentina, located 40 km from Mendoza city in a canyon of the Mendoza River surrounded by mountains. The natural springs emerge at temperatures between 30 and 50 degrees Celsius, rich in minerals with therapeutic properties recognized since pre-Columbian times. Indigenous peoples were already using these hot waters long before the Spanish arrived.
The current complex features multiple pools at different temperatures, distributed on natural terraces with views of the canyon. There are two main options: the Thermal Water Park (affordable and family-friendly with waterslides) and the Thermal Spa (premium, adults-only, with quieter pools and treatments).

Ideal for families with kids and for travelers who want a fun day on top of the relaxation. It includes food service, changing rooms and lockers.
Thermal Spa (adults only)
The Thermal Spa is the premium pick for those who want total quiet. Adults only, it offers more intimate thermal pools, spa treatments (massages, mud therapy, thermal mud wraps) and a serene mountain atmosphere. Spa treatments cost extra.

For the full experience, the Hotel Termas de Cacheuta lets you stay overnight with unlimited access to the springs. Rooms have canyon views and you can enjoy the spa at night, after most day visitors are gone. Rates from USD 120 per night with breakfast and spa access.

- Autumn (April-May): Pleasant temperatures, colorful scenery. Our recommended season.
- Spring (September-November): Mild weather, ideal for combining with other activities.
- Summer (December-February): More crowded, especially on weekends. Go on weekdays.
